Under the laws of Georgia, a citizen may serve on a jury if they: are current resident of the county and have resided in the county for at least six months prior to serving; are not a convicted felon who has not had voting rights restored. WebbI was a juror for an assault trial about 10 years ago. The whole process was interesting, from the differences to what you've probably seen on US TV shows to the interplay between the lawyers. You don't need to know much as the judge will direct the jury. Keep an open mind. Take notes. Don't believe everything you hear. Enjoy.
